The smaller variant of the Quinta Studio detail set brings a colored interior printed by 3D technology and printed in full color on decal backing paper. The instrument panels, the consoles and the controls gain raised relief and color without hand painting. This is an accessory for the build, not a model on its own.
The Sikorsky SH-60 B Seahawk is an American shipborne anti-submarine and anti-surface helicopter of the LAMPS Mk III system, deployed from frigates, destroyers and cruisers. The smaller variant of the set aims at the main surfaces of the pilot's compartment and is intended for the matching plastic kit in 1:35 scale.
Paint the surface under the pieces and polish it with gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22): the pieces have no adhesive layer of their own and hold precisely on the gloss, so a matte base is a mistake. Soak the cut-out part in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemicals attack the printed resin and destroy the piece. The package does not contain plastic or glue.
This is a supplementary detail set, not a helicopter model. The plastic kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
