A set of Soviet ammunition boxes with shells in 1:35 scale from MiniArt — a detailed accessory for dioramas and supply scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from MiniArt contains Soviet ammunition boxes together with shells in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle or figures, but an accessory set that brings dioramas, supply scenes and artillery scenes to life. The injection-molded plastic parts let you build the boxes open or closed and fill them with ammunition.
Wooden and sheet-metal boxes were used to transport and store artillery rounds and other Red Army ammunition. Ammunition was brought up to the battery in exactly this kind of box, and the crew then spread the boxes around the firing position. In a diorama they therefore look natural beside guns, tanks and supply points, and they give the scene both action and a sense of scale.
Clean up the parts and assemble the boxes according to whether you want them open or closed. Open boxes with visible shells make the scene more interesting. Build up the wood with glazes and washes and set the metal fittings apart with a darker shade. Bring out the shells with metallic and brass tones.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
