A plastic figure set, Soviet marines and German soldiers, hand-to-hand combat 1941-1942, from Master Box in 1:35 scale - five figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set from the line devoted to the fighting on the Eastern Front. It captures five figures in a dynamic close-quarters struggle - three Soviet marines and two German soldiers. The set is meant to be glued and painted and makes a very lively core for a diorama.
In 1941 and 1942 intense fighting took place on the Eastern Front, into which Soviet marines were committed as well. They were known for their darker uniform and their naval kit items. The set captures the moment of direct contact, when the fighting moves to immediate range.
Cut the figures out, clean them up and glue them with cement for plastic; the dynamic positions call for careful alignment of the limbs when gluing. Paint the Soviet uniforms in darker tones and the German ones in gray-green. Shade the faces in layers, deepen the weathering with a wash and unify the whole scene with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
