The model offers a detailed rendering of the fighting compartment, the engine compartment and the inner fittings of the turret and the hull. The package contains a large number of injection-molded plastic parts; the exact contents are stated by the manufacturer.
The T-54 was a Soviet medium tank developed after the Second World War, which became one of the most widespread tanks of its era. The mod. 1951 variant, designated T-54-3 in the factory series, was one of the early batches with a characteristic turret. The tank combined a powerful gun, sloped armor and reliable running gear.
A model with an interior is more demanding, so we recommend painting the inner compartments gradually during the build, before closing up the hull and the turret. Glue the parts with cement for plastic. For a faithful look an airbrush, washes and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
