This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale captures a Soviet tank crew loading ammunition into the vehicle. Besides the figures in working poses it also holds ammunition crates, which round out a realistic scene from the rear of an armored unit. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and goes splendidly with a tank diorama.
Replenishing ammunition was one of the routine yet strenuous tasks of tank men. The figures are rendered in later wartime overalls and factually document the everyday work of the crews around armor. The subject is treated neutrally, as a historical reconstruction of life behind a combat unit.
Separate the parts cleanly from the sprue gates and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. The working poses of the figures come out best beside a tank model, where the ammunition crates supplied with the set can also be placed. Finish the overalls with an airbrush and add washes and pigments for a dusty, worn effect.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
