A resin kit of a stationary engine in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Plusmodel. It is not a model of a vehicle but a diorama accessory, a striking standalone element with which you liven up a workshop, a farmstead, a sawmill or a field post.
Stationary engines of this type once drove pumps, threshing machines, saws and other machinery wherever electricity was not available. In a diorama it works as a convincing technical detail with a story of its own and fills the space by buildings and under a lean-to well.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A combination of peeling paint, rust and grease suits the engine; rubbed-bare areas and restrained pigments will reveal that the machine worked for years.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
