This product is neither a kit nor a finished model: it is a set of photo-etched metal parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber for building faithful external stowage bins (equipment boxes) on models of the light German half-track carrier Sd.Kfz. 250 in the late simplified Neu version in 1:35 scale.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 Neu was the simplified production variant of the carrier from 1943. The external stowage bins carried tools and the personal equipment of the crew. The photo-etched set makes it possible to build these boxes from thin metal with crisp edges and fine hinges instead of coarse plastic parts, and to build them open if you wish.
Glue the photo-etched sheet with super glue (cyanoacrylate); for strength it can be soldered. Make the bends in a photo-etch bending tool or over a metal ruler. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Because of the number of bends the set suits experienced modelers.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
