An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the production version from factory no. 112 (Krasnoye Sormovo, Gorky), in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The model has a full interior — a detailed fighting compartment, engine and transmission — and it is arranged so that the internal build can be presented. According to the manufacturer the package contains photo-etched parts and a metal gun barrel. Check the exact contents of the package and the number of parts against the manufacturer part number.
The T-34 is among the most significant tanks of the Second World War; it combined sloped armor, wide tracks and a powerful diesel engine. The T-34/76 version carried a 76 mm gun. Machines from the individual factories differed in the details of the hull and turret and in the production finish, and the examples from factory no. 112 have their own characteristic features, which this kit captures. The tank was produced in large numbers and became a symbol of the Soviet armored forces.
This is a more demanding build because of the full interior: first finish and paint the engine, the transmission and the fighting compartment, and only then close the hull up. Assemble and bring out the running gear and the tracks separately. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the interior with a wash, and complete the exterior with chipping on the edges and mud and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
