An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-70M light tank in the Special Edition release in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. Besides the tank itself the set contains crew figures and makes it possible to build the early or the late version of the T-70M. The box holds injection-molded plastic sprues, individual track links and decals for Soviet vehicles.
The T-70 was a Soviet light tank of the Second World War, powered by a pair of automotive engines coupled in line. It carried a 45 mm gun and a coaxial machine gun and was operated by a crew of two. The T-70M version brought strengthened running gear and further production changes. Although it was a light and thinly armored machine, it was built in large numbers and supplemented Soviet tank formations above all in the middle period of the war, until more modern types replaced it in production.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull first, and only then close the superstructure and fit the turret. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin liquid plastic cement. Assemble the individual track links with a natural sag. Apply primer before painting, spray the green shade with an airbrush in thin coats, bring out the engraved lines with a wash and add dust and mud pigments to the running gear. Bring the enclosed crew figures to life with uniform shades and they will help build a whole scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
