A detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the T-72M1 main battle tank in 1:35 scale from manufacturer Trumpeter. The kit includes a large number of parts, a multi-piece cast turret and hull bottom, individual link tracks, and metal accessories (wire and cable) as well as photo-etched parts. It is a demanding model aimed at more experienced builders.
The T-72 is a Soviet second-generation main battle tank, one of the most widely used postwar tanks of all. The T-72M1 version was an export configuration supplied to allies and other armies, with an armor level modified compared to the Soviet vehicles. Its armament consisted of a 125 mm gun with an autoloader.
Assemble and paint the running gear and individual track links before closing up the hull. Glue the metal and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; filters, washes in the recesses, and dust or mud pigments on the running gear give the model a convincing look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
