Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Polish maker IBG Models captures the Polish TKS tankette in the version armed with the Hotchkiss wz. 25 heavy machine gun in 1:35 scale. The package holds photo-etched parts and two figures. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The TKS was a Polish light reconnaissance tankette of the 1930s, derived from the earlier TK-3 type. The vehicles formed the backbone of Polish armored reconnaissance units and in 1939 took part in the defensive fighting. Some TKS were armed with a heavy machine gun, others with an anti-tank gun. Its small size and low silhouette made it a difficult target, but the armor was thin.
Finish the interior and the running gear before closing up the hull. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and sand the joints afterwards. After spraying a primer, use an airbrush for the camouflage scheme and finish the model with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
