An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light commercial vehicle Tempo A400 in the form of a vegetable delivery van, in 1:35 scale from the company MiniArt. The package contains crisp plastic parts, clear parts for the glazing, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet with several marking options. The doors can be assembled either open or closed.
The Tempo A400 was a German light delivery vehicle with an unusual layout: a three-wheeler with a single front wheel and a driven front axle. Small and economical vehicles of this type were in everyday use in the 1930s and 1940s for delivering goods around towns and villages, vegetables and food among them. It is a rewarding subject for a civilian scene as well as a period one.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting and spray the surface with an airbrush. Glue the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Civilian color schemes on delivery vans tend to be striking, so paint effects, restrained weathering and lettering and details picked out with a wash will all help.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
