Aber Tiger Ausf.E/H1 early version 1:35 is a photo-etched metal detail set for plastic models of the German Tiger I heavy tank. It is not a kit but a refining accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail photo-etched set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for models of the German Tiger I Ausf.E/H1 heavy tank in the early production version, in 1:35 scale. The package contains fine parts of etched brass sheet, which replace the coarser plastic elements of the kit, for example the engine deck grilles, the fenders, the tool clamps and other details. Note: it is not a model of the tank but a metal accessory for a plastic kit you have already bought.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank in service from 1942. It became famous for its thick frontal armor and its 88 mm gun, which could destroy Allied tanks at long range. The early production versions differed from later ones in a number of external features, among them the arrangement of the fenders, the tools and the fittings on the hull.
The photo-etched parts are cut off with a sharp knife or with special scissors, bent over a photo-etch bending tool or a metal ruler and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. The engine deck grilles stand out above all with the hatches open. Degrease the metal and prime it before painting.
This is a photo-etched metal accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
