A sheet of waterslide (wet) decals with the markings of one particular Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I heavy tank in 1:35 scale. The set is focused on the machine with the tactical number 222 from the 101st SS heavy tank battalion from the fighting in Normandy in June 1944, and it includes both tactical numbers and national insignia.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, feared for its heavy armor and its 88 mm gun. The units armed with Tigers played a significant role in the summer of 1944 in the defensive fighting on the Normandy front. The tactical numbers on the turret served to tell the machines apart within a company and a battalion.
Apply the decals to smooth gloss varnish, so that silvering does not occur. Once dry, a softener will help the markings settle onto the intricate surface and the cast detail. Finally, unify the surface with a matte varnish and add a patina with dust and mud effects.
It is not a model of the tank but a set of decals. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
