This is a photo-etched detail set, not a standalone model. The metal photo-etch in 1:35 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds completes a model of the Japanese Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank with fine parts that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic.
The Type 97 Chi-Ha was the standard medium tank of the Imperial Japanese Army in the Second World War. It was deployed in China as well as in the fighting in the Pacific and became the most widespread Japanese tank of this period.
The set holds fine photo-etched parts, for example grilles, covers, brackets and small fittings for increasing realism. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, make the folds over a metal ruler and bond them with super glue. Shape the curved grilles carefully over a cylindrical object.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
