A turned metal gun barrel in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Aber. It is not a model but an accessory with which you replace the plastic barrel on models of the American Sherman medium tank in the M4A3 version armed with the 105 mm howitzer. The metal part has a perfectly round section and a sharply drilled muzzle, where at this large caliber even the suggested bore stands out.
The Sherman M4A3 with the 105 mm M4 howitzer was the support variant of the most widespread American tank of the Second World War. The short howitzer was used against fortifications, infantry and soft targets, where its powerful high-explosive ammunition came into its own. The shorter, thick-walled barrel gives the vehicle an unmistakable look that a faithful metal replacement makes more accurate.
