Responsibility details are not available.
This resin (polyurethane) figure in 1:35 scale from the Italian brand Royal Model portrays a Bersaglieri officer in the North African setting of 1941. The casting stands out for the fine rendition of the tropical uniform and of the characteristic headgear and is a rewarding element of dioramas of the fighting for Libya. The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Bersaglieri were the elite fast infantry of the Italian army, famous for a broad hat decorated with a bunch of capercaillie feathers. In the Second World War they fought among other places in North Africa; Tripoli in Libya was a key strongpoint of the Axis. A figure of an officer in tropical dress gives a diorama of the desert campaign an authentic atmosphere.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mold seams. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the popular 1:35 scale invites careful painting of the face, the tropical uniform and the accessories with shading of the folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
