These are colored 3D decals for the interior in 1:35 scale, intended for the kit of the Unimog 404 truck from ICM. It is not a kit or a resin set - the decals are applied to the interior parts of the kit and replace flat or merely suggested details of the cabin with a finished colored rendering. The modeler thereby gets a legible instrument panel, instruments and other features without brush-painting tiny details. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Unimog 404 is an all-wheel-drive off-road truck that was built from the 1950s and lasted for decades in both military and civilian service. It was used as a transport vehicle, a carrier for various bodies and a special-purpose machine in many forms. On a model the cabin of this type is clearly visible, especially when you build it with the doors open or into a scene - and that is exactly where colored interior details pay off.
The decals call for a smooth and glossy base. So first paint the interior parts, let them dry completely and spray them with gloss varnish. Take the decal out of the water only once it has released from the backing, move it into place with a brush and blot up the excess water with a paper tissue. On uneven surfaces and edges press the decal down with a soft cotton swab. Whether a decal softener can be used with it should be checked in the manufacturer's instructions; with printed elements the makers tend to be cautious about it. At the end comes a matte or semi-gloss varnish, which unifies the surface and hides the edges of the carrier film.
It is an add-on set of decals, not a model. The base kit, paints, varnishes and auxiliary products are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
