It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrel of the basic kit. The set is intended for the usual 1:35 kits of the M47 Patton tank.

The accessory and how to use it

A turned metal gun barrel is perfectly straight, has the right wall thickness and bore, and it does away with the cleaning up of parting seams typical of plastic parts. The Y brake and the mantlet cover match the particular M47 version. You fit the barrel in place of the plastic part according to the instructions of the basic kit, and the metal parts can be soldered or glued with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer suitable for metal before painting.
