Plastic kit of the American M4 Sherman medium tank in its late production form. Models from Asuka (formerly Tasca) are among the best fitting and most accurate Sherman kits for modelers: they stand out for their fine relief, the accurate fit of the parts and their well-thought-out engineering. The box contains decals for several options.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American tank of the Second World War and served in thousands with Allied armies as well. The M4 version had a welded hull and in its basic form a 75 mm gun. Late production examples received a series of changes: revised hatches, cast front plates and improved VVSS suspension with return rollers. The Sherman proved itself by its reliability, easy maintenance and sheer numbers.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull before you attach the superstructure. The armor of the Sherman is usually smooth, so layering shades of olive drab and gentle edge highlighting show well. Create dust and mud on the suspension with washes and pigments; dirty the wheels and tracks the most.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
