Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a US soldier on horseback in the Afghan setting, in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. The package holds one rider and a horse. The set is a good way to bring modern military dioramas to life with an unusual scene. It is aimed rather at more experienced modelers.
The figure refers to the deployment of US soldiers who, in the early stages of operations in Afghanistan, used horses because of the demanding mountain terrain. The soldier is shown in contemporary field gear adapted to local conditions. The treatment is historically factual and neutral, without judgment.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, carefully cut away the casting blocks and bond the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Take particular care painting the horse's coat with smooth transitions and the rider's skin with shading. Pigments on the boots, the horse's coat and the gear bring out the dusty setting.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
