Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush or a brush. Metal props and ones soiled with oil stand out after washes, a dry brush and greasy effects. Finish the glazed or varnished surfaces of the workshop equipment with a gloss varnish, and matte down the matte surfaces of the tools, so that the scene looks believable.
