Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from HäT. The box holds twelve riders in four poses and twelve horses in two poses, divided over four sprues. The figures are unpainted and the rider has to be seated in the saddle. The Bengal Lancers are among the best known mounted units of British India and make a striking centerpiece in a colonial formation.
The Bengal Lancers were cavalry regiments of the Indian Army in British service. They carried a long lance with a pennon, a distinctive type of turban and a uniform that changed through the 19th century from bright colors to field khaki. They served on the North-West Frontier, in Sudan and in the First World War in France and Palestine, where they took part in some of the last cavalry charges in history.
Wash the plastic, dry it and spray it with a flexible primer. The lances are thin and long, so part them from the sprue with a sharp cut and glue them on last. Paint the pennons on the lances in strong colors; they are the main area of color in the set. Tell the turbans apart by regiment. Keep the horses to two shades so that the formation reads as a single unit.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
