A set of classic waterslide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. It brings tactical numbers, crosses and unit markings for the German StuG III assault guns of the Ausf F/8 and Ausf G versions and for the StuG IV with Waffen-SS units. It is not a kit but an accessory for faithfully finishing a model.
The Sturmgeschütz III was the most widespread German assault gun of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the Panzer III. The later versions with a long 75 mm gun also proved effective as tank destroyers. The StuG IV was based on the chassis of the Panzer IV. Assault guns were an important part of the equipment of the Waffen-SS divisions.
Varnish the surface under a decal with gloss varnish so that the marking adheres without silvering. Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water, slide it onto the model and blot up the surplus water. A decal softener will help it settle into the texture of the armor. At the end, overcoat with matte varnish and blend it with the weathering and dust effects.
This is a set of decals on its own. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
