This detail set brings 3D-printed resin wheels for the Soviet ZiK-1 vehicle in 1:35 scale. The parts replace the wheels of the base kit, have a fine surface and a crisp rendering of both the tread pattern and the disc, which raises the realism of the model. The white resin works and paints well. This is an accessory for superdetailing, not a model in its own right.

Use

• Separate the wheels from the print supports carefully, or first dip them briefly in warm water to soften the resin.
• Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Apply a primer before painting and paint the wheels with ordinary modeling paints.
• Pick the tread pattern and the sidewalls out with a glaze and a dry brush, and match the discs to the color of the vehicle.
