This is a photo-etched brass detail set from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a universal set of small wing nuts with which you replace the coarse plastic imitations on all sorts of models of armor and military equipment. The small photo-etched parts have sharp edges and a true shape that cannot be achieved in molded plastic.
Wing nuts appear on real equipment at the fixings of tools, hatches, tanks, tarpaulins and other removable parts. The universal set is therefore usable across many models: it strengthens the credibility wherever the maker of the base model only suggested these small items.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife straight from the fret and move them into place with tweezers. They are glued with a small drop of cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Because of the small size it helps to work with a magnifier or another optical aid.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
