The workshop shelf is a diorama accessory from the Plusmodel brand in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of a vehicle, but a small furnishing set that will round out the interior of a workshop, a garage or a store. Once assembled and painted, the cast resin parts come across as a worn piece of workshop furniture.
The shelf fills in the back-up area of a scene and gives it believability - it goes with a workbench, crates, barrels and tools and links the vehicles with the setting in which they are repaired or stored.
Wash any residue of mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wood and metal come out nicely with dry brushing, washes and pigments; rust and grease are added by dark oil effects.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
