This brass photo-etched set serves to improve the detail of plastic models of the British Churchill Mk.III infantry tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank model but an accessory that replaces and refines selected plastic parts with etched components. The basic model is not included in the package.
Photo-etch brings thin elements that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic: covers, grilles, clips, brackets and other fine details of the large hull and the track side skirts. The model thus gains a fineness that plastic parts cannot offer.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard mat, bend them with a photo-etch bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or two-part epoxy. Finish the hull details before closing the model up. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with primer for metal.
This is a detail set, not a model. The basic kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
