An add-on detail set, not a standalone model. It holds twelve turned metal rounds of the German 88 mm L/56 gun in 1:35 scale, supplemented with photo-etched parts. The ammunition brings the interior of a vehicle, stowage baskets and loading scenes to life with detail that plastic moldings cannot reach.
The 88 mm L/56 gun made up the main armament of the Tiger I tank and at the same time served in the anti-aircraft and anti-tank fit of the Flak 18/36/37 line. Its long, slender rounds with a sharp shell and a massive case are among the characteristic features of German equipment of the Second World War.
Deburr and degrease the metal rounds, and bend the photo-etched pieces as needed. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Distinguish the shell and the case by color, and bring the brass part out with a metallic shade and fine weathering for a faithful look.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
