A plastic kit of the light Type 056 class missile corvette of the PLA Navy in 1:350 scale. The package makes it possible to build a unit with either the Huizhou or the Qinzhou designation. The exact contents of the package and the number of parts are not stated here; you will find the particular specification on the packaging.
The Type 056, in Western classification the Jiangdao class, is a light multi-purpose corvette intended for patrol work in coastal waters, for the protection of the exclusive economic zone and for escort duties. It carries gun armament, anti-ship guided missiles and air defense systems; the later sub-versions added anti-submarine equipment. It is a present-day vessel built in considerable numbers.
Decide between a full hull and the waterline version. Glue the fine superstructures, masts and railings carefully in small amounts; join photo-etched parts with super glue. Present-day naval gray shades make the base, and you can create the weathering with thin washes and fine rust and salt effects along the sides.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
