A multi-piece plastic set of miniature EH-101 helicopters in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. It is not a large stand-alone model but a supporting set of small parts to populate the decks and hangars of warship models in the same scale. The parts are injection molded in clear plastic and decals are usually included. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The EH-101 (known today as the AgustaWestland Merlin) is a European three-engine utility helicopter of Italian and British origin. It is used for anti-submarine warfare, transport and rescue missions, among other things from the decks of warships. It is one of the larger and more capable machines in its category.
The parts are very small, so work with tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic applied in drops. Glue the rotors and the landing gear carefully. For painting choose an airbrush and light coats that preserve the fine relief; finish the details with a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
