The Type VIIC/41 submarine is a plastic kit of the German U-boat of the Second World War in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the most widespread class of German submarines of the Second World War in 1:350 scale from Revell. The hull carries a fine texture of rivets and welds, faithful venting and deck detail. Characteristic is the enlarged conning tower platform, the so-called Wintergarten, with its anti-aircraft armament. The decals make it possible to build several particular boats.
The Type VIIC was the best known and most frequently built German submarine; the VIIC/41 version received a lightened structure and a revised conning tower with heavier anti-aircraft armament. These submarines were the backbone of the Battle of the Atlantic and were armed with bow and stern torpedo tubes.
Glue the hull halves with thin plastic cement and sand the joint carefully so that it disappears on the smooth surface. The model can be built as a full hull on a stand. Treat the base with primer, lay the basic gray down from an airbrush and bring the surface to life with washes and light weathering to suggest wear in service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
