A multi-piece plastic set of miniature MV-22 Osprey machines in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. It is not a large stand-alone model but a supporting set of small parts to populate the decks of amphibious and other ships in the same scale. The parts are injection molded in clear plastic and decals are usually included. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The MV-22 Osprey is an American tiltrotor with folding rotors that combines vertical takeoff and landing like a helicopter with fast flight like a turboprop airplane. It serves with the United States Marine Corps to carry troops and cargo, among other things from the decks of ships. In its name it is usually described as a V/STOL type (vertical or short takeoff and landing).
The parts are very small, so work with tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic applied in drops. Glue the engine nacelles and the rotors carefully. For painting choose an airbrush and light coats that preserve the fine relief; finish the details with a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
