This is a photo-etched (PE) brass detail set, not a model of a ship. The set adds faithful radar antennas and fine structures to plastic models of German warships of the Second World War in 1:350 scale, structures that injection-molded plastic cannot capture thinly enough.
Radar antennas are made up of fine mesh and frames, where a metal photo-etched part is irreplaceable. Once assembled and painted they look realistic and become a prominent feature of the superstructures and the masts.
Separate the parts from the fret carefully and shape the mesh in a photo-etch bender. Glue with thin super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with UV glue; apply a primer to the metal before painting.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. A matching base kit is needed for the build; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
