An injection-molded plastic kit of the Ford Focus WRC competition car of 2001 in 1:43 scale from the French manufacturer Heller. The model captures the factory rally car of the World Rally Car class and comes as an unassembled and unpainted set of parts with a decal sheet carrying the competition colors.
The Ford Focus RS WRC was among the very best in the world rally championship at the turn of the millennium. The version for the 2001 season was given reworked engineering under the familiar body and an engine tuned in cooperation with the firm Cosworth. The car became famous among other things for its performances in the hands of Carlos Sainz, and it is one of the icons of the World Rally Car era.
The small 1:43 scale will value careful work with a thin glue for plastic and the sanding back of the mold seams. We recommend spraying the body over a primer; a gloss top coat under the decals makes them easier to apply and ties the surface together. The color scheme and the sponsor markings are supplied by the decal sheet enclosed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
