A 3D-printed resin detailing set from Reskit in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory (an aftermarket set) containing two auxiliary drop tanks of 1200 liters in the version used on SEPECAT Jaguar aircraft in the colors of the Royal Air Force (RAF). The set is intended to be fitted to a basic Jaguar kit in 1:48 scale — the kit itself is not included in the package.
Drop tanks extend the range and raise the fidelity of the aircraft's fit in typical RAF configurations. The 3D-printed version offers clean shapes, fine surface detail and faithful tank geometry with none of the parting seams that tend to be visible on plastic parts from a mold.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove any uncured print resin residue. Cut the print supports off carefully with a sharp blade and sand the areas down. Glue them with cyanoacrylate — ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Use respiratory protection and ventilate when sanding. Apply a primer before painting and blend the tanks in with the camouflage of the airframe.
This is an accessory (a detailing set), not a standalone model. To use it you need a basic Jaguar kit, which is not included in the package. Paints and glue are not enclosed.
