A set of figures of German infantry in 1:35 scale to be assembled and painted. It gives a vehicle model or a diorama human scale and a story.
Responsibility details are not available.
Figures of German infantry in 1:35 scale, that is, in the most widespread scale of military modeling. An adult figure in it measures around fifty millimeters, a size at which the cut of the clothing, the equipment and the expression on the face all show. The number of figures, their poses, their equipment and the period they relate to are given in the manufacturer's instructions, so look through the source material if you are building a particular scene.
Beside a model of a vehicle or a gun, a figure is the quickest way to show the viewer the size of the machine. In itself it also carries a story: the pose and the turn of the head decide whether a scene looks like a moment caught in time or like a row of figures lined up. In a diorama it is therefore a good idea to lay the figures out before you glue down the terrain, and to look for a relationship between them.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade; after gluing, fill the seams with putty and sand them lightly, or they will show through the finish. Before painting, wash the figures and cover them with a base coat. Keep the uniform in a flat shade and bring it out three-dimensionally with a darker glaze in the folds and a lighter tone on the edges. Paint the faces separately from the rest and in a warmer tone than the fabric. Apply thinned layers gradually; thick paint floods the fine relief of the equipment.
A set of figures is supplied. Paints, glue, putty and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
