This is a 3D-printed resin figure set in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker Reskit. It holds three figures: the pilot of the A-10A Thunderbolt II attack aircraft climbing the access ladder, and members of the ground crew. The set serves to bring a scene around a model of the aircraft to life.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II (nicknamed the Warthog) is a single-seat attack aircraft meant for close support of ground forces. It became famous for its durable structure and the powerful rotary cannon in the nose. The A-10A version is the original single-seat form. Figures of the pilot and the crew give a scene scale and life.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin figures, cut off the print supports, and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the uniforms with shading for volume, work up the flesh tones, and light washes will add depth to the folds of the clothing.
This is a resin figure set for experienced modelers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and an aircraft model are not included in the package.
