A precisely finished 3D-printed resin figure of a pilot seated in the later SJU-8/A2 ejection seat. The package holds one figure in 1:48 scale intended for models of the A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft. The figure fills an empty cockpit and gives both the model and a diorama scale and life.
The A-7E Corsair II was the most widespread carrier version of this subsonic attack aircraft of the US Navy. Later in its service life the machines flew with updated ejection seats. The figure captures a pilot in full flight gear with helmet and oxygen mask.
Wash any uncured resin off the figure, cut away the print supports and sand their marks down gently. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Paint with acrylics meant for figures; pick out the face and the patches on the gear with glazes and drybrushing.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
