A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Hauler in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a photo-etched accessory for building a plastic model of the Italian Autoblinda AB-43 armored car. Thin metal parts replace the coarser plastic items and add fine details on the surface of the vehicle. It is based on the dimensions of the Italeri kit.
The Autoblinda AB-43 was an Italian armored car of the Second World War, a later development of the successful Autoblinda series. It was a fast four-wheeled reconnaissance and combat vehicle with a turret; the cars were used on several fronts and some of them served after 1943 as well.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends in a bender or against a ruler. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, spray the whole model with a primer so that the paint holds on the metal.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a complete model. The Italeri base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
