Reskit 1:48 AH-64 Apache — Resin Detail Accessory

This product is a resin, 3D-printed detail part from manufacturer Reskit, designed for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter model in 1:48 scale. It is not a helicopter model, but an accessory (replacement detail part) that replaces or adds to part of the original kit and increases the realism of the finished model. The package contains resin parts on print supports; the plastic kit and glue are not included.

What the accessory is for

Reskit's 3D-printed parts faithfully reproduce shapes and fine detail that injection-molded plastic cannot achieve. Fitting and finishing

• First wash the parts with lukewarm water and dish soap to remove uncured print resin residue and grease.
• Carefully cut away the print supports (with a knife or saw) and clean up the cuts with sandpaper.
• Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue); regular plastic cement does not bond resin.
• When sanding resin, use respiratory protection and work wet because of the dust.
• Apply a primer before painting for good paint adhesion.
