Armament for the Soviet MiG-3 fighter (2x 7.62 ShKAS, 1x 12.7 mm UBS, pitot tube, 1:48) from Aber. A metal accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit but a metal detail accessory. The set contains turned brass barrels of the fuselage armament of the Soviet MiG-3 fighter, that is two 7.62 mm ShKAS machine guns and one 12.7 mm UBS heavy machine gun, together with a pitot tube. The metal parts replace the simplified plastic.
The MiG-3 was a Soviet high-altitude fighter of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. Its standard fuselage armament consisted of two synchronized ShKAS machine guns and one heavy UBS, firing through the propeller disc.
Cut off the plastic barrels, drill the openings and glue the turned parts in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fit the pitot tube at the end of the build.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
