1:48 Avro Lancaster B.MK.I British Roundel Airbrush Mask For Special Hobby

Painting masks for the British roundels of the Avro Lancaster B.Mk.I (1:48, MH models)

A set of airbrush masks from MH models for spraying British RAF roundels onto a model of the Avro Lancaster B.Mk.I heavy bomber in 1:48 scale. The markings are created by spraying paint through precisely die-cut stencils, so the roundels adhere perfectly to the surface, do not wrinkle over riveting and have no glossy film as a decal does. On the large Lancaster these are sizeable insignia, where spraying looks especially realistic. The shape of the stencils matches the Special Hobby kit.

Use

• Stick the mask on according to the diagram and spray the colors of the roundel in layers from lighter to darker.
• Let each layer dry between coats, then take the mask off.
• The result is flat or semi-gloss depending on the paint, with none of the edge typical of a decal.
• Suitable for spraying with an airbrush and with a covering brush.

Who it is for

For modelers who want realistic national insignia with no decal edges, especially on the large surfaces of a bomber with pronounced surface detail.

This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
