SPACE is an accessory for the interior, not a model of the aircraft. This set from the Czech Eduard is aimed at the cockpit and the nose compartment of the B-26 Marauder bomber in 1:48 scale. It combines 3D decals with three-dimensional color detail of the instrument and side panels and photo-etched steel seat belts, so it creates a richly drawn interior without laborious painting.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, known for its high speeds and demanding handling. The glazed nose and the cockpit are clearly visible on the model, so faithful panels and belts lift the impression of the finished build considerably.
The 3D decals are not immersed in water: it is enough to moisten the backing paper, lift the element off with tweezers and fix it with white PVA glue. Their thickness and modeling come from the carrier layer. The steel belts are shaped and bonded with super glue. Everything is fitted before the fuselage and the nose are closed.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
