A detailed resin set from the Czech maker CMK, which replaces and completes the armament of the fighter version of the Bristol Blenheim Mk.IF in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory meant for a plastic model of the Blenheim Mk.IF in that scale. The set brings finely cast machine gun barrels that outdo the plastic parts in crispness and fidelity.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engine all-metal aircraft of the 1930s, originally a fast light bomber. The Mk.IF fighter variant came about by adding a ventral gun pack with four .303 machine guns, joined by a movable barrel in the dorsal turret. In the opening phase of the Second World War the Blenheim Mk.IF served as a night and escort fighter.
First wash the resin parts free of any remains of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The thin barrels are fragile, so it is best to fit them at the end of the build and to paint them separately.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
