A detail set of American general-purpose 500 lb aircraft bombs in 1:48 scale from Plusmodel. The parts are made by 3D printing and the package holds four bombs together with a decal sheet of markings. It is not an airplane model but ordnance to add to a model under the wings or in the bomb bay.
The 500 lb bomb was standard ordnance on American fighters and bombers of the Second World War and of the later period. The set gives the model a realistic load with faithful shapes and markings, which tend to be simplified on the parts from the box.
Wash the parts clean of print resin residue and cut away the print supports. The bomb is usually painted olive green or metallic, finished with the color bands and stencils from the enclosed decals and lightly dusted with pigments for the impression of storage and handling.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is not an airplane model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
