This is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Firma49 in the smaller 1:48 scale, not a model on its own. It depicts the British tropical (cork) pith helmet and suits bringing figures and scenes from a desert or colonial setting to life.
Tropical cork pith helmets were worn by British soldiers and personnel in hot theaters, for example in North Africa or in the Far East. They protected against the sun and are a pronounced detail of the period.
In 1:48 scale it is a very small part, so work carefully and with good lighting. Wash the part, separate it from the print supports and clean it up; before removing them the resin can be softened briefly in hot water. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and paint in matte shades.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
