A set of masking templates 77propeller 1:48 for the Heinkel He 219 A2 (Wnr. 290126) for the camouflage plus masks for the crosses and the numbers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking templates from the maker 77propeller for a model of the Heinkel He 219 A2 night fighter in 1:48 scale. This is not a model and not decals but an aid for the airbrush: the templates define the camouflage pattern of one particular machine with the works number 290126 and are supplemented by masks for spraying the national crosses (Balkenkreuze) and the tactical numbers. The masks are laid on section by section onto the model.
With the templates you spray both the camouflage and the markings with an airbrush and achieve sharp or softly feathered transitions without decals. The result is more faithful than printed markings and it matches the period scheme of that aircraft. Historically this was the He 219 Uhu, a twin-engine night fighter of the Luftwaffe armed with cannon and fitted with airborne radar.
For modelers who prefer sprayed markings to decals and who want the most faithful result possible. It calls for experience with masking and with the airbrush.
The set does not hold an aircraft model, paints or glue. It serves as an aid for spraying an existing kit.
