Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British postwar de Havilland DH.112 Venom jet aircraft in 1:48 scale from Mikromir. It is a new mold capturing the characteristic design with a short fuselage and a pair of tail booms. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The de Havilland Venom was a single-engine jet aircraft that grew out of the earlier Vampire and offered a more powerful engine and better flying qualities. With the Royal Air Force it served as a single-seat fighter-bomber and as a two-seat night fighter, and it also proved itself with a number of other operators. It is among the typical representatives of the first generation of jets.
Give attention to a clean join between the fuselage and the tail booms. Glue the cockpit glazing with a cement that does not fog clear parts. For a faithful look we recommend a primer base, spraying with an airbrush and fine emphasis of the engraved panel lines with a wash. The metal and polished areas of the engine section can be brought out with metallic paints.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
