A resin DHC-2 Beaver engine in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Clear Prop Models. A detailed replacement for the power plant of models of this aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A cast resin set capturing the radial engine of the Canadian aircraft de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver. Resin allows a fine rendering of the cylinders, the cooling fins and the plumbing, which gives an exposed engine section a realistic depth. It is an accessory for models of this type, not a kit, and it comes into its own especially on a build with the engine cowling opened up.
The DHC-2 Beaver is a Canadian single-engined utility aircraft with short takeoff and landing, powered by a radial engine. It was popular as a reliable machine for remote areas and was operated on wheels, skis and floats.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The engine comes out once it has been painted and the individual cylinders and the plumbing brought out.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
